Rochester Premo Pony #4

I've just bought myself a c1900 Premo Pony #4 view camera (5" x 4") and I'm looking forward to getting out and using it; although I may have to either:

• get the pneumatic shutter professionally serviced
  
• or, get the 101mm lens / shutter assembly off of a Kodak 620 and try that.

Maybe I'll just do both! Oh, and I'm seriously tempted to try coating my own plates for use in the camera - has anyone else tried coating their own glass plates?
