Leica Screw Mount
Here's a few shots of my Leica II (Model D), that I bought late in 2007. I'd wanted a Leica for many, many years and I finally got one.
But it was just the body, no lens; for the lens I had to raid my FED-2 camera and Jupiter-26 50mm lens - at least until Feb '08 when I managed to get the funds together for a Red Scale Elmar 5cm f3.5. Since that time, I've loved using the camera and I'd built up an expectation of what it would be like to use a Leica. I wasn't disappointed.
The separate rangefinder / viewfinder I actually find really easy to use (mainly because most of the time I just guess the distance, set the lens then use the viewfinder window). A few weeks ago, I treated myself to an Elmar 9cm f4 lens, uncoated and the serial number would suggest that it's from 1934; looking forward to developing the roll of film that I finished today...!
Do you have a screw mount Leica? Want to tell us about it? This is the thread to tell us something about your LSM and the pictures you have taken with it.

Re: Leica Screw Mount
As a matter of fact I would love to havea well written article on a Leica or the Leica line, that 'Leica Glow', etc. So if you think you can write a good technical and opinion article then contact the magazine or, just submit it.
