Welcome... Empty Welcome...

Christopher and myself would like to welcome you to the latest incarnation of the Creative Image Maker magazine. We both realise that as we reach the end of the first year of Creative Image Maker there have been several changes and ups and downs, however, it has always been our wish to bring together like-minded individuals whose interest is in the traditional side of photography.

This new approach provides us with several new features - you'll now be able to communicate direct to each other, Christopher or myself via the Private Messaging (PM) system, discuss various elements of photography on the forum, and once you become a member we hope to be able to deliver the magazine via aa newsletter direct from the site.

This is a departure from the previous sites, and the move to make it more forum-based is one that we have been thinking about, trying to decide if it's the right thing; we're more than well aware that there are plenty of other photography-based forums on the web, but we hope you'll support this site.

We'd like to thank all of you for all the support you have shown to Creative Image Maker from it's initial heady days where everything happened so fast, through the rocky patch in the middle / late 2008. Let's hope that 2009 will be steadier and that we can all build on the foundations that have been laid.

Many thanks from both Christopher and David.

Yes, thank you very much for particpating in Creative Image Maker magazine. This is our magazine. Not David's and mine, I mean all of us. As we have printed countless time before 'by photographers for photographers'. And it is the intent of the magazine to hold that true well into the future, foreseeable and otherwise.

Thank you again and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
